Claudia Reid- Building 28 Community Manager promised to make good on Squirrel Issue

The Community Manager and the Assistant Manager  came to the apartment to see for themselves what the issue was and they were astonished over the hole in the AC/HEAT room. The Assistant Manager took pictures and set up construction on Wednesday to open the walls  and clear out what's in the building.   We talked and apologized to each other for the lack of respect we've shown each other over the months. She acknowledge that there is a problem and she is going to fix it. She also acknowledge that there was water damage as well. That happened before I moved in... So you now what that means... BLACK MOLD
She said that there is something clearly here in the building why the squirrels keep coming back.  She is going to do an inspection finally!  And inspect everyone's apartment to find any loose ends to secure the building.

I am so pleased and a bit secure that she is finally coming through.  But I didn't like really was the fact that she is relying on head of maintenance again to fix the issue when it was him that stated in the first place and more than once that there is no entry whatsoever for the squirrels and he made me believe several times and made it look like I was crazy.

Then he told the Community Manager that I was crazy.  Well I guess I wasn't ... wasn't I.

I set up an a Work Order to have the massive hole covered in my AC/HEAT VENT ROOM in my apartment and this is the what the maintenance man wrote to me WHY!!! we cant have that hole covered regardless whether SQUIRRELS are coming in or not.

According to the proximity being behind the H/W heater and on the Floor... Its going to require cutting more wall to cover a smaller section..

 

Lets see how I took letter:

HMMMMM! your telling that you cant and you want me to understand that and I have to live with Squirrels coming into my home!

Claudia Reid- What happened one Night When Building 28 needed A+ Animal Removal for a dead squirrel in Apartment

This is what A+ Animal Control have on there sight to help you with your issue. My question to you is? That night when my neighbor had two dead squirrels in his drier... And we called A+ Animal control 8:00pm to come pick up the dead Squirrel  and in the website they promised to remove dead animal and sanitize the area and remove the smell... Did they do that? And who's fault is it... Is it Animal Control fault or the Property Manager or Greystar? After a month the place still has a faint dead carcass smell....

My Question is?-  They said they work 24 hours a day 7 days a week... Why didn't Animal control come that night when my neighbor needed dead animal removal.  The guy who was assigned to the building told us he cant come out here until the morning to remove dead squirrel. Then he didn't show up! Hmmmmm! interesting! Now who's fault is that..... The property manager cutting corners again or A+ guy made the decision not to come OR Property Manager cut the service off to cut corners again

We received your service request this morning regarding the holes in the A/C closet and request for service from Massey.  Maintenance will be filling the holes in your closet today and you have been put on the list for pest control  services for Tuesday, 1/6/15.  In addition, the exterior of the building will be inspected by A+ Animal Solutions later today or tomorrow.

 This is an email I received in regards to the issue in my apartment with Squirrel Issue.  Now why do I have to wait until 1/6/2015 to solve the issue? Why not 12/30/2015 that Tuesday.  2nd Issue- Why do I have to tell you to get the guy from A+ Animal Solutions to come here and inspect the building. Ask me if the guy came to inspect the outside perimeter.  The Answer is no!  Now the Squirrels are digging a hole at the bottom of the bathroom wall. I put green tape on it to show the location.  Lets see this time how long it will take for them to make a move on this one.

 

Ive warned the property manager so many times what would happen if she does not get a handle on this and she just did nothing for 7 months and what I mean by that it is, Get a professional. NOw the matter has gotten worse.

CLAUDIA REID: BUILDING 28- WHY AA ANIMAL CONTROL NOT COMING BACK.. DID HE GET PAID?

This is from AAA Animal Control add that guarantees repairs and trapping. ensuring that no squirrels back on premise.

The woman on the second Floor behind me is still feeding the squirrels.  The whole AAA Animal Control would have worked if the Property Manager dealt with the woman. On my next Show Im going to read the letter that she sent the tenants in regards to feeding squirrels.  The woman is still feeding them after that weak ass notice the Property manager sent. I personally believe that the woman that is causing this havoc on the tenants by feeding the squirrels and causing them to dig holes has something over the property manager.  There is no way in Hell that you would allow this to happen and the woman is the cause of the swarm of squirrels harassing us.  The tenant got some dirt on the property management.  That's the only thing I can think of or it could be ....... I hate to say it... Racially motivated.  I really don't think so, but by the behavior of the property manager not handling the situation. This woman should have been evicted... it has to either both situation I just mention or just one out of two.

The AA Animal Control don't even come back and lay traps anymore.  The animal control man knows its a waste of money and time because the PROPERTY MANAGER didn't take care of business.   I am really mad because I told that idiot do not let me sign this lease if there is a problem with rodents.  ****NO MS. REID... WE DO NOT HAVE THAT PROBLEM HERE****

Since the animal control guy came on the property. I have not seen anything AA Animal control has done as they are suppose to do. All he did was place the trap under the roof and leave.  I had to call him to come get the trapped squirrel.  One night I called him to remove a squirrel out of the dryer trap. This was before 9:00pm as per there last call of 24 hour service.  He told me that's not what he does and he cant come out. He will be there the next day and he never came.  I feel that the PROPERTY MANAGER told him do not come back.  That's what I think happened.  He said that there is entry in my AC/HEAT room and he was going to tell her to cover the holes and she never did until I threaten channel 7 news.

They did no Roof Inspection and the maintenance men did the sealing of the holes....

CLAUDIA REID- BUILDING 28- SQUIRREL HOLES MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEARED

The holes that were at the side of the building mysteriously disappeared.  Now that's what Im talking about.  I woke up this morning looking for the holes and it was done so neatly as if it never happened. It looks like whatever I am doing is making a difference and causing them to see and act diligently on the matter.  Now I didn't say that they may continue this.  But its a start.  Hopefully they continue this because I am so sure that Building 28 is not the only building experiencing this annoyance with Infestation of squirrels.

There are still problems with the Squirrels, and they are still on the tenants porch that has the feed bags.  The Squirrels guard the back of the apartment securely and they are very aggressive and considers you a threat and ready to attack.  I saw the squirrel sitting on the roof ready to attack if I had came closer.  My Question is---------> Why was the tenant in the back not penalized for the havoc she caused by feeding the squirrels.  If you stop feeding them they eventually will go away.  By her feeding the squirrels she put the tenants in danger health wise by having squirrels defecate in the surrounding areas inside the building and they have turned into aggressive animals ready to attack people. 

I still feel my health is at risk because I have to constantly use ammonia on a soaked towel and place it in front of the AC/HEAT room so that the pungent smell of the ammonia can back them off for a while.  They still have not followed up and come in to fill the holes in my AC/VENT ROOM. It is still the same and I have used mothballs as well to help.  I have tried everything.... I just  shake my head in disgrace living under these conditions.

At one point, The building manager told me that I can leave without penalty.  Who has the money to move?  I told her that if you want me to move your are going to pay for it.  This is all your fault in regards to the massive damage that is done on the building because you ignored tenants plea for help.  I spent so much money to move.... and you want me to make it easy on her to move again and allow another person to go through what Im going through.   The vicious cycle starts again with an innocent tenant like myself that got lied and hurt.  Im not leaving until this matter is resolved and I will continue to fight until they acknowledge that the building is infested and the ball has been dropped. I am so embarrassed living here that I cant even invite people to stay like my family because I am afraid for the squirrels to come out on them.  I don't want my nieces to get bitten by a squirrel.  I fear that for myself more than anything, but for it to happen to a child I would be so devastated. They fool with the renovations which was done while the squirrels and GOD knows whatever lurks in the ceiling and behind the walls.  There are so many hole patches in the apartment... Stupid me got star struck over  the renovations that I ignored the warning signs.  Just keep in mind that even though something so pretty can be fool you if you don't look underneath.

CLAUDIA REID: 12/23/2014- BUILDING 28 3AM CHASING SQUIRRELS IN MY AC/HEAT VENT ROOM

I have photos and they are so beautiful.  You can tell when a building has history like this one.  in 5 months when my lease is up I will tell you that story It is 3 am in the morning and guess what I am doing?  fighting with a squirrel in my AC Vent Room.  Next Question?  How long has this been going on? Did you tell the management about the issue of the squirrels? Did they do anything? and how long did it take for them to do something?  answers  a) Trying to either kill the squirrel or get it out of the AC/HEAT room/ b) Since Ive moved in this has been going on c) Yes I did tell management several times by email, certified mail, begging, crying, going to office, being patient and trusting d) How long did it take them say or realize.... to get a professional .... 7 months... Do you have pictures of the Squirrels doing damage... OH YES!  Are squirrels considered RODENTS per the contract you signed on the lease.... YES!!! per my lawyer. Did you get channel 7 news attention?  Yes I did and they will be here to cover the problem. A news guy is staying in my apartment one night to experience the Squirrel infestation.  Here is another question.... Have you been paying your rent? OH YES!  every month and on time folks.... It took me to act like a cussing, foul mouthed sailor to get something  done because  nice and courteous got me no where. its a shame I had to act like a PIG for them to make a move.. Heres the thing. I moved in the Spring of May... Complained the second week of may. Told them to ask neighbor upstairs to control her dog because I could not sleep with all the running around over my head... GUESS WHAT folks... It was not a dog or dogs!!! It was a swarm of Squirrels. They knew the lady upstairs did not have pets of any kind and told me that they will notify her... How sick is that!!!  And mind you! I came to Arbors to pick up some information about the apartment not to rent right away.  I asked the nice lady for information and she sat me down and told me what I needed to do get the apartment.. She is very nice and a sweet lady and if it were up to me.. I would have made her BE the Property manager... Moving along... I had to go to work that day so I had no intention of staying and she convinced me to see the place and said that she has a feeling I would be a perfect fit.... Got the money order of what I needed to pay to get the ball rolling ..... Saw the apartment it was beautiful and still is... Holy shit they renovated the apartment on top of an infestation of Squirrels behind the walls in the ceilings .. you name it and they are there... THe property manager went the cheap route and got maintenance men to handle it... It never worked each time...... Then for months trying to figure out how and where the SQUIRELS are coming from.... Kept thinking It was the WASHER DRYER TRAP and I also wondered why this building..... BUILDING 28!.... I will tell you why? Because there is a tenant that got feed bag of birdseeds and feediNg all the squirrels in the complex and caused the squirrels to terrorize us in the building. After playing private detective tracking the squirrels to see where they go and what they do day and night.. I am hardly sleeping through the process.. They are digging holes in the apartment building creating a home and taken owner ship.  Told them of all my findings in hoping that maybe they would fix the issue when the weather was warm.. FOLKS THE BEST TIME TO CLEAN THE ROOF AND EVICT THE SQUIRRELS IS THE SUMMER CORRECT?  ASK ME WHEN A PROFESSIONAL ANIMAL TRAPPER AND CONTRACTOR CAME TO BUILDING 28. TWO WEEKS BEFORE THANKSGIVING AND IT WAS TOO LATE.  THE ANIMALS WERE ALREADY SETTLED IN THERE HOME IN THE WINTER. SHE DIDNT MOVE ON THIS UNTIL IT GOT COLD??? MAKE SENSE!  OFCOURSE IT DOESNT

THE NEIGHOR IN BUILDING 28 CAUSING ALL THESE ISSUES AND THE PROPERTY MANAGER WONT GET RID OF HER. SHE IS FEEDING SQUIRRELS AND CAUSING THEM TO PUT HOLES IN THE APARTMENT BUILDING AND TERRORIZING THE TENANTS.  QUESTION.... DO YOU THINK THE TENANT THAT IS FEEDING THE SQUIRRELS AND CAUSING SQUIRRELS TO COME AROUND FROM ALL OVER TOWN DIGGING THE HOLES INTO THE APARTMENT.. MAYBE BLACKMAILING THE PROPERTY MANAGER?  DO YOU THINK SO? THE REASON WHY I AM SAYING THIS IS BECAUSE.....

YOU HAVE A TENANT THAT HAS LOADS OF BIRDSEEEDS AND FEED BAGS ON HER PORCH AND THE SQUIRRELS ARE SWARMNG FROM ALL OVER AND EATING THE FEED AND DIGGING A HOLE IN THE BUILDING... THAT SHOULD BE AN AUTOMATIC EVICTION...

THE PROPERTY MANAGER REFUSES TO EVICT THIS WOMAN  THAT IS CAUSING ALL THESE DAMAGES AND CAUSING SQUIRRELS TO COME INTO OUR HOME. AND MAKING HOLES IN THE APARTMENT AND WE HAVE COMPLAINED DOZENS OF TIMES AND SHE HAS DONE NOTHING BUT SEND A WEAK ASS NOTICE AND TELLING US TO BECAREFUL FEEDING THE SQUIRRELS ITS A DANGER TO THEM.  WHAT BONEHEAD SENDS AN NOTICE TO SAVE THE ANIMALS... SHOULDNT SHE SAY.. IF YOU CONTINUE TO FEED THE SQUIRRELS AND TERRORIZE YOUR NEIGHBORS WE WILL BE FORCE TO COMMENCE ACTION OF EVICTION.  LOOK AT THE PORCH.. SHE THAT RED COOLER?  THAT THING IS FULL OF  CORN AND BIRDSEEDS AND THERE ARE 3 MORE BAGS ON THE GROUND. 

WHO FUCKING DOES THAT?  SQUIRRELS ARE DISEASED ANIMALS LIKE RATS.  WHY WOULD YOU FEED THEM AND CAUSE HAVOC ON THE NEIGHBORS.  WE ALL PAY OUR RENT ON TIME. WHAT I AM THINKING IS THAT THERE IS SOMETHING SHADY GOING ON. WHY WOULD YOU AS A PROPERTY MANAGER NOT STOP THIS...

THE PROPERTY MANAGER AND GREYSTAR REFUSE TO REPAIR THE HOLES THAT THE SQUIRRELS DUG THERE WAY OUT.  OH YEAH DID I TELL YOU HOW THE PROPERTY MANAGER  TOOK 6 MONTHS TO REACT TO AN ON GOING INFESTATION OF SQUIRRELS INSIDE THE BUILDING 28...THE TENANT BEFORE SUFFERED UNDER THE HANDS OF THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT.  THE PROPERTY MANAGER WHO DOESNT HAVE A CLUE IF THEY HANDED IT TO HER FOR FREE.....THE DUMMY WENT THE CHEAP ROUTE FIRST AND GOT INEXPERIENCE MAINTENANCE MEN TO TRAP THE SQUIRRELS AND THEN AFTER I HAD TO ACT LIKE I LOST MY MIND WITH COUNTLESS EMAILS BEGGING THIS WOMAN TO HELP ME.SHE WAITED UNTIL WINTER TIME TO SEAL THE HOLES IN THE APARTMENT AND TRAP THE SQUIRRELS INSIDE AND THEY DUG HOLES  TO GET IN... AND THEY DUG HOLES TO GET OUT. WE HAVE A SWARM OF SQUIRREL SHIT AND PISS ALL OVER THIS BUILDING. THE BUILDING LOOK LIKE SWISS CHEESE.  YESTERDAY A SQUIRREL ALMOST A ATTACK ME BECAUSE I WS TRYING TO GET PICTURES OF THE WOMAN WHO IS FEEDING THE SQUIRRELS. SHE HAS BAGS AND BAGS OF BIRD SEEDS FEEDING THE SQUIRRELS....DID I TELL YOU THEY HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SQUIRRELS FOR YEARS AND THEY HAVE COUNTLESS COMPLAINTS BY DIFFERENT TENNANTS AND RAT ISSUES.

HEY EVERYONE I GUESS YOUR WONDERING WHAT THESE ARE? TAKE A GUESS?  IT IS SQUIRREL SHIT AND A SQUIRRELS IN THE AC/HEAT VENT ROOM.  SUPPOSE TO BE CLEAN RIGHT?

NOW THE PROPERTY MANAGER WAS TOLD OF THIS MATTER SEVERAL TIMES FACE TO FACE AND BY EMAILS *** COUNTLESS BEGGING, CRYING, YOU NAME IT I HAVE DONE IT... I GAVE HER SEVERAL CHANCES.... WAITED PATIENTLY UNTIL I HAD TO EXPLODE AND ACT LIKE A FOOL IN ORDER TO GET THINGS DONE.   I WROTE NICE THINGS ABOUT THE PROPERTY MAMAGEMENT TEAM, I THANK THEM ALL THE TIME OF THE COUNTLESS FAST RESPONSES FROM SCREWING A LIGHT BULB TO FIXING A SINK. THE EASY STUFF THEY FELT SAFE RESPONDING TO.  I MOVED IN MAY AND NOT EVEN A FULL MONTH AND THE NOISES DISTURBANCES ALREADY STARTED. I EVEN WENT TO THE MANAGEMENT OFFICE AND TOLD THEM TO TELL THE WOMAN UPSTAIRS TO PLEASE CALM HER DOG DOWN BECAUSE THE DOG KEPT RUNNING BACK ND FORTH AND I CANT SLEEP I WORK NIGHTS. THE NOISE KEPT GOING ON AND ON...WENT TO THEM AGAIN... THEY SAID OK MISS REID WE WILL LET HER KNOW... THEY KNEW THAT WOMAN DID NOT HAVE A DOG, IT WAS SQUIRRELS RUNNING IN THE CEILING.  I CONFRONTED THE WOMAN UPTAIRS AND SHE SAID THAT THE PERSON WHO USED TO LIVE IN YOUR APARTMENT HAD THE SAME ISSUES AND HE COMPLAINED ALL THE TIME.  SO I ASKED HER IF SHE EVER COMPLAINED, SHE SAID YES... WE ALL HAVE AND NOTHING WAS DONE. THE MAN WHO USED TO LIVE N THIS APARTMENT TOLD ME THAT YOUR GONNA HAVE A HARD TIME LIVING IN THAT APARTMENT AND I AM SO SORRY YOU GOT YHE APARTMENT. YOU SEEM LIKE A NICE WOMAN... I AM SO SORRY MAM!  THIS STILL MAKES ME LAUGH UNTIL THIS DAY!!!!!!  THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT TEAM SENT THE HEAD OF MAINTENANCE TO CHECK OUT MY APARTMENT BECAUSE I HEARD AND STILL HEAR SCREECHING, SCRATCHING AND THE SQUIRRELS ARE SHARPENING THERE TEETH ON THE WOOD BEHIND THE WALLS.

HE CAME IN CLAIMS HE DONT HEAR ANYTHING OR SEE ANYTHING AND HE CHECKED ALL AROUND THE APARTMENT.. NO ENTRY FOR SQUIRRELS OR RATS.  EACH TIME. IM STILL  HEARING IT AND I AM STILL SEEING IT.  MOVING FOWARD..... AND BELIEVE ME I GOT A LOT MORE TO SAY... I WILL COME BACK TO THIS STORY...LOOK AT THE ELECTRICAL METER... LOOKS REAL GOOD RIGHT?  LOOK AT IT NOW!!!!

GUESS HOW THIS HAPPENED?

NOW I SAY TO YOU!!!!  WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WERE IN MY SHOES... LETS SAY YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THIS TYPE OF THING AND YOU POINTED OUT EVERYTHING.. YOU DID ALL THE WORK POINTING OUT HOLES... WHERE THE SQUIRRELS OR RATS ARE ENTERING ... YOU TOOK PICTURES AND EVERYTHING... AND INSTEAD OF GETTING A PROFESSIONAL RAT/SQUIRREL TRAPPER...YOU WENT THE CHEAPO WAY AND GOT INEXPERIENCE MAINTENANCE MEN TO TRAP THE RATS AND LET THEM GO BACK ON THE SITE AND WATCH THEM GO BACK THROUGH THE DRYER HATCH... YES LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THEY WERE IN MY WASHER AND DRYER HOSE INSTEAD OF DRIVING THEM OFF THE PROPERTY.  YES FOLKS I SWEAR ON EVERYTHING I LOVE AND HOLD DEAR... I SAW THE MAINTENANCE MAN GOT THE SMALL TRAP.. TRAPPED ONE SQUIRREL AND HELD THE CAGE UP..  OPEN UP THE CAGE AND LET THE SQUIRREL OUT AND THE SQUIRREL CLIMBED UP THE WALL AND WENT BACK IN THE HOLE  WHERE THE DRYER SMOKE COMES OUT OF.

 

1) I EMAILED CONSTANTLY AND THE EMAILS TURNED FROM THANK YOU TO A FUCK YOU.  2) I TOOK PHOTOS, I SENT EMAILS OF MY FINDINGS OF THE PROBLEM AREAS.. TOLD HER TO TELL THE CONTRACTORS  WHERE *** THE PROFESSIONALS SHE FINALLY GOT AFTER 6 MONTHS***** TO GO AND WHAT TO DO... OH WAIT THERES MORE?  BE PATIENT!!!! BECAUSE I WILL FILL YOU IN ON HOW I CAME TO THIS DREADFUL ASS PLACE. THEY DID RENOVATIONS ON A RAT AND SQUIRREL INFESTED BUILDING. 

COMMON SENSE EXIST BUT NOT EVERYONE HAS IT...

EVERYONE KNOWS SQUIRRELS ARE TERRITORIAL. ONCE THEY GET A HOLD OF YOUR PLACE... YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO LEAVE IT... THEY ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!!!  UNLESS YOU GO IN THE ROOF GUT THE WALLS GET THEM OUT  CLEAN THE LITTER, KILL THE SMELL WITH REMOVING THE PADDING AND SEAL THE HOLES AND MESH IT WITH CHICKEN WIRE.  A PROFESSIONAL KNOWS WHAT TO DO. DID THEY DO THAT? .........................

WHAT THEY DID WAS SEAL THE SQUIRRELS IN THE BUILDING AND THEY CHEWED THERE WAY OUT!!!! THATS WHERE THE HOLES ARE... HERES THE THING I HEARD THE GRINDING IN MY BATHROOM ONE NIGHT!!!!

THIS IS BUILDING 28 !!!!!  I GOT MORE STORIES FOR YOU!!!! KEEP IT HERE!!! I WONT BE ABLE TO TELL YOU WHICH BUILDING THIS IS JUST YET!!!  YOU WILL KNOW SOON.  BECAUSE  I BELIEVE THE PROPERTY MANAGER NEVER FIXED THE HOLES BECAUSE SHE IS HOPING I WOULD LEAVE.  SHE IS LEAVING THEM OPEN AS A FORM OF RETALIATION. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION.  SHE SENT ME AN EMAIL THAT IF I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH HER AND HER STAFF I CAN LEAVE!!!... DO YOU THINK I PAID ALL THIS MONEY TO MOVE *** WHICH IS A LOT I MIGHT ADD**** AND TO PAY AGAIN TO LEAVE!****** MY ANSWER IS BITCH ARE YOU CRAZY!!! lol  JUST FIX THE PROBLEM.. BUT THE TEA ON THIS BUILDING IS... MY BUILDING IS NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THE RAT AND SQUIRREL ISSUE... STAY TUNED...
